Stanford MBA Cost Trends: 2022 vs. 2023 vs. 2024

Tuition fees for Stanford MBA have shown a constant upward trend, first increasing by 3.7%, from $76,950 in 2022 to $79,860 in 2023 further increasing by 3.2% in 2024 to $82,455. 

Living Expenses and Housing showed the highest hike of 6.9% in 2023, from $36,198 in 2021 to $38,724 in 2023 and then moderately increasing by 3%, to $39,888 in 2024.

Although medical insurance saw a hike of 4.9% in 2023, it substantially grew by 6.2% in 2024 to $8,403. 

Harvard MBA Tuition Fees & Total Cost - 2024 vs. 2023

Tuition fees for the Harvard MBA program saw a hike of 2%, whereas the total fee saw a hike of 2.36% due to increases in expenses such as Housing, Food, Course Materials, Health Fees, and Insurance plans.

Alliance Manchester Business School offers a post-MBA salary of $140,328 for a $104,412 cost.

Similarly, the Warwick MBA despite a 21% hike in costs offers the MBA program at an affordable $94,289 with an average salary of $125,339 - 32% higher than the cost.

Which Top 30 US MBA has the most and least difference between In-State vs. Out-of-State Tuition Fees?

Darden has the lowest difference between in-state and out-of-state fees of $6,480, whereas the highest is at Kelley School of Business, with a difference of $51,220. Between in-state and out-of-state students, the cost difference ranges from $6,480 to $51,220. International MBA candidates must pitch in an additional $30,000 to $40,000.

Best 30 US MBA – Total Cost and Total Salary (2024 vs. 2023 vs. 2022)

For the 2024-25 session, none of the Business schools maintained the same tuition fee or cost as that of 2023. 

On average, the percent increase in the total cost remained in the 5% to 15% range.

The highest increase in the cost was from Paul Merage School of Business with 32% hike and Broad College of Business with a 38% hike. Despite such noticeable hike, these two schools remained at the bottom of the Top 30 US schools ranked based on the post-MBA salary.

Investment Banking: Industry Trends Q1 2024

In Q1 2024, global M&A activity took an interesting turn. While the number of deals plummeted to a nine-year low, with a 31% drop YoY (10,724 deals), the total deal value surged by 38% to USD 798 billion. This contradiction highlights that larger deals dominated the landscape, especially in the U.S. and Europe, which saw a rise of 78% and 58%, respectively, marking their strongest opening quarter since Q1 2022. In contrast, APAC M&A activity decreased by 28% YoY, impacted by persistent high inflation, rising interest rates, and geopolitical instability.
